Day 1: Agadir – Foum Zguid – Erg Chegaga
Departure in the morning from your hotel in Agadir aboard a private 4×4. The road passes through Taliouine, known for its saffron fields, before continuing to Foum Zguid, the last village before the desert. After a stop, you will continue along Saharan tracks and past the ancient dried-up Lake Iriki, offering a unique and contrasting landscape.
At the end of the day, arrival at the majestic dunes of Erg Chegaga where you will spend the night in a permanent bivouac, equipped with comfortable rooms, bathrooms, and electricity. A traditional dinner and an evening of music under the stars will conclude this first immersion in the desert.
Day 2: Erg Chegaga – Draa Valley – Ait Ben Haddou
After breakfast at the camp, you will continue your journey by 4×4 through desert tracks and the Draa Valley, renowned for its verdant palm groves and ksour (fortified villages).
The route then leads to Ait Ben Haddou, a famous kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the setting for numerous films. You will have time to explore the narrow streets of this fortified village before spending the night in a traditional guesthouse with dinner included.
Day 3: Ait Ben Haddou – Taznakht – Taliouine – Agadir
The day begins with breakfast in Ait Ben Haddou before heading back to Agadir. You will pass through Taznakht, known for its Berber carpets, and then Taliouine, where saffron is the local specialty. A lunch break is planned along the way.
Late afternoon, arrival in Agadir after these three days of adventure between desert, kasbahs and authentic landscapes.
