Day 1: Marrakech → High Atlas Mountains → M’hamid
- Departure at 7:00 AM from Marrakech in a 4×4 vehicle
- Crossing the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2,260 m)
- Visit to the kasbahs of Tamdakhte and Aït Ben Haddou (UNESCO World Heritage Sites)
- Lunch on your own in Ouarzazate
- Drive to Zagora via Agdz and the Draa Valley
- Stop in Tamgroute: Koranic library and pottery workshops
- Arrival in M’hamid, settling into the bivouac
- Traditional dinner with Saharan music
- Overnight stay in a nomad tent or with a local family
Day 2: M’hamid → Erg Chegaga
- Breakfast at the camp
- Half-day camel ride in the desert
- Lunch in the shade of the tamarisk trees
- Transfer to 4×4 to the Chigaga Dunes
- Sunset over the golden dunes
- Dinner and overnight stay in a desert camp at Chigaga
Day 3: Chigaga → Lake Iriqui → Aït Ben Haddou
- Breakfast overlooking the dunes
- Drive to Aït Ben Haddou via:
- Lake Iriqui (depending on the season)
- Foum Zguid
- Taznakht (carpet capital)
- Visit to a carpet cooperative
- Lunch on your own en route
- Arrival in Aït Ben Haddou, visit to the ksar (fortified village)
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel
Day 4: Aït Ben Haddou → Telouate → Marrakech
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Departure for Telouate via the Ounila Valley
- Visit to the Glaoui Kasbah
- Lunch on your own
- Return to Marrakech via the Atlas
- Arrival late afternoon
